Hi everybody!

The comments section is working again, so go ahead and leave a lot of comments, okay?

I've been talking about the german mentality, but I want to leave clear that this is NOT about ALL germans, only about some people that I've met here. I have found true friends here and there are a lot of good things to say about them... Like for example how they question themselves about the deeper meaning in their lives and about caring about this planet, how much compassion they can show for people in need. Things we brazilians are sometimes blind for. They are still shocked when they see poverty and suffering, because they haven't become blind to that, as all of us, who live side by side with misery, have. They try to make the world a better place to live, and they still believe in that. They go out in the streets to protest against war in iraq and they want to help, to make a difference. This is the other germany I found here, beside the cold people that everyone knows as the germans.

It's a hidden side of Germany and of Europe, and it's what makes me get really angry when I hear that "there are only nazis in Germany". It's not true. There are good people everywhere you go, and if we could always see that, we would be a lot richer than money could ever make us.

Tomorrow or later tonight (it's already ten, but maybe I'll make it...) I'll scan the photos of Croatia and upload them into my photo album. Hope you like them... :)

I'm gonna go study now, I have a math test on tuesday and I have to write an essay till thursday.
