hi everyone!
I`m dead, I just returned from a trip around the center of Sampa. It may sound really strange, but I had never really been there...
And now I just want to make a quick statement... I LOVE THIS CITY! It`s a very stressy place, that`s true. You`re always stuck in traffic, it`s a huge and (sometimes) really ugly city. But it`s also a place where ANYTHING, really anything can happen. Good things and bad things... And Sao Paulo is the home of the warmest people of the world. Everywhere you go, you are met with politeness, friendliness and a smile. People are always interested in you. If you want to be SEEN, this is the right place to go. Okay, sometimes you feel TOO exposed. (That`s when some nasty guy starts calling indecent offers after you, but normally it`s only funny...)
Its a city where people of every nation in the world live peacefully with each other, because it was this variety that made Sao Paulo what it is today. To be different here makes you special, not a marginal.
I`m not talking about the higher society which exists here. I`m talking about people you meet every day on the street, in the hotel and in bars and shopping centers.
I know there are a lot of reasons that keep me from living here. But in my heart I will always be a Brazilian, and a Paulistana, because a nice thing that comes with this nationality is the fact that being Brazilian doesn`t stop you from being anything else. You can be Brazilian and also be German, or Jewish, or Muslim, or Chinese.
I miss home, but I also want to share this feeling with you. Everytime I come here I discover something new about this place...
Well, that`s it for today. I`m going to take a shower and relax a little before I go out again.

Hey everyone!
Now I'm in Brazil... Its warm here, and yesterday it was sunny too, but today the weather is pretty ugly, it's been raining. Yesterday I was with Bebel in the coolest bar, it's called sky bar and it's on top of a pretty high building, so you can see the whole sampa skyline from up there. Beautiful! But the caipis there suck.
What else... I tried to call my friends but everywhere I call I only get the answering machine. But I'm dead tired today anyway, so I'm thankful for a little break. It's great to be here, I still feel at home, but sometimes I also feel like a complete stranger...
Well, I guess I have to stop writing, my paid internet time is ending. At least now you can really post comments.

Hey everyone!! Today I'm sending all you guys the address of this wonderful thing... :)
And tomorrow I'm taking off to BRAZIL! YEEEAAHHH!!!
But I'm really gonna miss my darling, he's staying here... :(
But over there it's summer now... and thats really something to look forward to!! I'm in the middle of packing... And later I have a christmas party.. So I have to keep it short...
To those of you here in Europe, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I'll miss you all and I'll see you all when I get back, okay??

PS: By the way, in case you've been wondering... I've created this wonderful virtual diary to give you all a sign of life more often than I do by email and phone... I'm really sorry I have so little time but thats why I created this, so you can check in and see what's going on in my life.... :) I'm writing in english because some of you don't understand portuguese and others don't understand german... :)
But don't worry, I'll keep trying to answer my emails more often!

Okay, this is gonna be my first real post. I'm starting to think that this blog is a really good thing, because it gives you a chance to write down your thoughts... It's kinda hard to formulate what I've just been thinking, but it was something like this:

...always stick up to your own opinion. Even if everyone else is against it, as long as you believe it's right, don't give up your belief for them. It happens sometimes that you are the one who is right and everyone else is wrong. Even if not, that's not really what it's about. It's more about being yourself. It's your life and you have to decide yourself what you want to do with it.
There's nothing wrong in changing your mind when you see that you are wrong, of course. But there are many people around that are not really your friends. If you really want to be alive, you gotta be clear about things, you gotta take a position and not stay in a neutral center. That only makes you lose your way.
A real friend is a friend who sticks to you even if you are wrong... He may tell you that you are mistaken, but still he will be on your side and defend you.

Well, it sounds strange, but actually I think that these are comforting thoughts.
That's it with the philosophy today, I'm going to bed... kisses!
